One of the most amazing and best things I ever learned how to do was when I took a hypnobirthing class while was pregnant. I learned how to focus my mind on a four part breath.
In through the belly, fill it up then once full, fill up the chest until completely full, then slowly release the chest till empty then relingquishing the air from the belly. ang again. belly, chest, chest , belly. Four parts. and WOW. I finally had a way of meditating when i wasn’t able to meditate. It helps you to focus your on your breath and body like almost no other way I had ever found. And while I breathed, I would allow myself to stretch and move and expand out my spinal cord and neck. allowing oxygen to get to the parts of my body that needed it. allowing the rest of the world to disappear until I decided to focus on it as well when i was doing the 12 senses rotation.
so remember, it’s BREATHE IN … BELLY …. then CHEST..
then BREATHE OUT, releasing CHEST then BELLY.. and then begin again..
BREATHE IN BELLY then CHEST, BREATHE OUT CHEST then BELLY and again. LISTENING and PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR BODY the whole darn time.
Exapand Your Spinal Cord, and Your Neck, then once again, BREATHE IN BELLY, then CHEST , BREATHE OUT, CHEST, then Belly and let bliss flow over you and through you .. Yummmmmmmmmmm….. PURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR………..
